Beirut, (SANA) Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and All the East Gregorios III Laham stressed Tuesday that the countries supporting terrorism and terrorists in Syria should bear their responsibilities towards the terrorist war waged against this country and should stop the flow of weapons to the armed terrorist groups in it.
Opening the Synod of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church Ain Traz in Lebanon, Patriarch Laham called on the Syrian people, with its various spectrums, to commit to their land despite the killing, displacing and kidnapping acts perpetrated by the armed terrorist groups.
He pointed out that the synod will continue deliberating the situation in Syria, Iraq and other countries.
