President al-Assad issues law on establishing Education Ministry to replace the one issued in 1944

Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad issued on Tuesday Law No. 31 stipulating the establishment of the “Ministry of Education” to replace the one established under Law No. 121 for 1944 and its amendments.

The law aims to reorganize the functional structure of the Ministry of Education, develop its objectives, and expand its tasks to keeps pace with the developments and changes that have occurred in the types, patterns, means, and stages of education.
