Seven civilians injured in terrorist rocket attack in Damascus

Damascus/Hama, SANA – Five civilians were injured on Tuesday in a terrorist rocket attack on the residential neighborhood of Abu Rummana in Damascus.

A source at the Police Command told SANA that a rocket shell fired by terrorists fell in al-Mehdi Bin Baraka Street in the neighborhood, injuring five civilians and damaging a number of parked cars.

The injured civilians were rushed to al-Shami Hospital, and a source there said that their injuries are of varying

severity.

Damascus Contryside

Meanwhile, two children were injured after terrorists launched rockets on areas in Damascus Countryside. .

A police source told SANA that terrorists targeted with a number of shells the area of Mukhayam al-Wafidin, causing the injury of two girls, 2 and 6 years old, and material damage to the properties in the area.

The source added that terrorists also launched a rocket on Harasta suburb , causing only material damage to the parked vehicles in the area.

Hama

Meanwhile, terrorists fired three rocket shells on al-Sqeilbiyeh city and Shat’ha town in the central province of Hama, causing material damage to the residents’ properties.

Units of the army responded to the rocket firing and targeted with heavy weaponry the terrorists’ dens in Kfar-
enbouda town and Harj Qassabin from which the rockets were launched.

The dens were directly hit and destroyed along with the weapons and ammunition they contained.
