Interior Minister meets political, social, religious, and economic figures in Hama

Hama, SANA – Interior Minister Gen. Mohammad al-Shaar on Saturday met political, social, religious, and economic figures in Hama city, discussing with them issues related to boosting security and stability in the city and improving the economic and social conditions in it.

Participants in the meeting called for facilitating the return of the locals of Morek town, providing compensations to people whose properties were damaged, monitoring prices, and increasing the amount of fuel allocated for the city.

Al-Shaar said that Syria is at the threshold of victory, and that all the state establishment are preparing for the reconstruction stage, stressing the need to raise awareness among youths and children, cooperating to curb all the negative phenomena spawned by the crisis, and dealing with all who tamper with civilians’ safety.

He also said that the police and internal security forces are ready to coordinate with chambers of industry and commerce to secure the transport of goods and protect them from theft.
